Sean is a licensed CPA who spent nine years in the Big 4 advising large companies on complex accounting and tax work before founding Mantle. He founded Mantle to bring that same standard — Big 4 training, a licensed CPA, senior-level attention — to businesses on Main Street. Every Mantle engagement is led by a licensed CPA personally. No junior associates, no handoffs, no once-a-year stranger — a Big 4-trained CPA in the work with you, at a flat fixed fee, every month of the year.

At Mantle, Sean leads client engagements end to end — from the first conversation through the monthly work, financial reviews, and the questions that come up in between. The relationship a client has with their CPA is the heart of the firm, and Sean keeps it close.

Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and is a licensed CPA in North Carolina. He loves meeting with clients in person — across the table, on-site — throughout Charlotte and across the Carolinas. Sean believes the work is better when the relationship is real.

Erin began her career in Big 4 audit and advisory, where she earned her CPA license serving complex multi-entity clients across financial services and insurance. After several years inside the Big 4, she transitioned to high-growth startups, where she built accounting and finance functions from the ground up — designing the systems, controls, and reporting that let young companies scale.

That operational background is what sets Erin's work apart. She has lived inside the businesses she now serves — she knows what it looks like to scale a finance function, where the real bottlenecks are, and what owners actually need from a CPA at every stage of growth. Erin leads the conversation when prospective clients first come to Mantle. She scopes engagements, builds the right package around each business, and stays close to the relationships as they grow.

Erin co-founded Mantle on the conviction that small and mid-sized businesses deserve the same caliber of work the Big 4 reserves for its largest clients — direct, senior-level engagement from a licensed CPA, every month of the year.

Erin lives in Charlotte with her family. Outside of client work, she stays active across the local community and is involved with several Charlotte-area organizations.
